Wiktionary
The free dictionary is another Wikimedia Foundation project intended to be a free wiki dictionary (including thesaurus and lexicon) in every language. Wiktionary is a multilingual and international dictionary. The English Wiktionary has more than 110,000 entries, though surpassed by the French Wiktionary, which has more than 120,000 entries. Try to type a word in the Search field, & select the Language & see what happens.

The Free On-line Dictionary of Computing (FOLDOC) is an online, searchable encyclopedic dictionary of computing subjects. It was founded in 1985 by Denis Howe & is hosted by Imperial College, London. It is available via many mirrors.
